Whereas other consultants just tell you what to do and leave you with a big report to decipher at the end of the process, we work with you in a collaborative partnership that dramatically increases your success rate.

We intimately work with you and your team to increase self-management and personal accountability of all involved in the process through practical, easy-to-administer tools that develop leadership growth and increased profitability. We coach and train you and your team to develop strategies that are easy to implement and action plans to become self-sufficient and competitive in your nonprofit sector.

Key Components of The Strategies for Success Program

We work closely with your governing body and executive team to set the strategy and planning for meeting all of the above. We serve as consultants, coaches and advisors, on-call as needed. We jointly establish the project timeline and implementation plan. We begin with a planning meeting and meet formally at least once a week. We will confer with you several times a week (daily, if needed) by phone and e-mail.

The Strategies for Success program has 3 different phases. Depending on the size and complexity of your business, each phase may last anywhere from several weeks to several months.

Phase I

• Definition and Analysis of the Social Problem Your Nonprofit is Targeting.

• Analysis of Your Mission Statement to Determine if it Succinctly Defines Your Nonprofit’s Social Impact.

• Analysis and Development of Your Nonprofit’s “Theory of Change” and Program Logic Model(s).

Phase II

• Identification and Analysis of the Major Strategic Issues Positively or Negatively Influencing Your Nonprofit’s Ability to Achieve Social Impact.

• Analysis and Development of Your Nonprofit’s Business Model (i.e. How the Nonprofit  Creates, Delivers, and Captures Value).

• Identification and Development of Strategies to Achieve Significant Social Impact and Sustainable Funding.

Phase III

• Development of Your Business Plan to Implement the Nonprofit’s Strategic Plan.

Najera Consulting Group stays with you and your team after completion of the Strategies for Success program on a complimentary basis for up to 3 months to ensure the successful implementation of your strategic plan!
